The Bharat Scouts and Guides (BSG) is the national Scouting and Guiding association of India.The national headquarters of BSG is recognised by the Government of India.

Scouting was founded in India in 1909 as an overseas branch of the Scout Association and became a member of the World Organization of the Scout Movement in 1938. Guiding in India started in 1911 and was amongst the founder members of the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts in 1928

Bharat Academy & Sciences has been a member of BSG since 2016 and habe been an active member school in the district of Howrah. At present the School has number of Boy’s Scouts, Girl Guides followed by Cubs & Bull.

The School prepares the students to appear for the SOF examination every year to optimise the ability & agility of our students in this competitive world.

The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) is a research institute in New Delhi that specializes in the fields of energy, environment and sustainable development. Established in 1974, it was formerly known as the Tata Energy Research Institute. As the scope of its activities widened, it was renamed The Energy and Resources Institute in 2003
Bharat Academy conducts the Green Olympiad an International Environment Examination in association with Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change for the elementary students.

The School has been actively participating in the fit India movement since 2019 organised by ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports under the guidance of CISCE New Delhi & has also conducted Fitness Walk Marathon in the Sub-Divisional town of Uluberia at the time when we need to promote fitness to boost immunity!
