SUMMARY:Special Assembly on Mahavir Jayanti
DESCRIPTION:Today\, we gather here to celebrate Mahavir Jayanti\, the birth anniversary of Lord Mahavir\, the 24th Tirthankara of Jainism. His teachings of non-violence (Ahimsa)\, truth (Satya)\, and self-discipline (Tapas) continue to inspire millions around the world. \nThe Life of Lord Mahavir\nBorn in 599 BCE in Kundagrama (now in Bihar)\, Lord Mahavir renounced his princely life to seek spiritual enlightenment. Through deep meditation and self-discipline\, he attained Kevala Jnana (ultimate knowledge) and spread the message of peace\, compassion\, and righteousness. \nHis Teachings & Relevance Today\nLord Mahavir emphasized:🔹 Ahimsa (Non-violence): Respect all living beings and avoid harm.🔹 Satya (Truthfulness): Be honest and uphold integrity in every action.🔹 Asteya (Non-stealing): Never take what is not yours.🔹 Brahmacharya (Self-control): Control desires and live a disciplined life.🔹 Aparigraha (Non-possessiveness): Avoid greed and practice contentment. \nIn today’s world\, where conflicts and negativity often cloud our minds\, his message of kindness and harmony is more relevant than ever. \nA Thought to Reflect Upon\n“Live and let live.” – Lord MahavirLet us practice love\, patience\, and respect for all\, making our school and society a better place. \nMay the spirit of Mahavir Jayanti guide us to be compassionate\, honest\, and peaceful individuals. \n🌿 Happy Mahavir Jayanti! 🌿
